We're biding farewell to winter today. It might be because we haven't seen as many pretty boys in one single day, since September. Although we love guys in mittens and caps, spring sunshine has a way of exponentially increasing the number of make out-able guys, and with all this talk of us living in exponential times, we're dying for some proof.
We had just concluded that with a running nose and in a fever haze, our appearence was far from million dollar bucks, and closer too being classified as an account overdraft. Som ett brev från inkasso, we thought. Looking like a debt collection notice. And that's when we saw him, walking down the street in the clear afternoon light. His features are flawless. He must be painted by Leonardo da Vinci, and the perfect pencil strokes are framed by a beard in deep mahogny. It is, as if he is the only thing in focus, and the rest of us live in a low resolution you tube-landscape. He walks like a self-assured character from a Hjalmar Söderberg novel. The eternal soul of his belongs to a tiger. Not suprisingly, the man's mythological namesake was the son of Anchises and Afrodite.

Of course, we couldn't help but smile. To walk with the Gods, or to see them once in a while on Earth is truly a bliss.

There is a Chinese saying that goes; The best time to plant a tree was 100 years ago. But the second best time is today.

We like to think that everyday is for planting new seeds and cultivate the existing garden. As much as tomorrow is today, today will eventually become yesterday. And the trick is seizing the day while honoring our past and with respect to the future.
"We have a grilled sandwich maker, which is very important," says Almqvist. "It's very popular at night after the intake of beverages."

How convenient then that we love toast, drinks and ice cream,
as well as rascal boys who grow into handsome men and speak textbook English. And Howlin's trademark flow of confidence and humour has always been on our top list of loveable characteristics.

It is wonderful to once again dream of forests filled with wild animals instead of google docs.

During our siesta yesterday, we had relocated to a South African farm with a man who found us, completely lost, crying in the woods and whos arms felt like the missing puzzle piece that made life complete. We have never felt a more sublime feeling, wild horses were running across the hills and nothing else mattered.

Tonight, slightly less magical, we dreamt that a guy we think we like, but who never replies to text messages, had a big argument with his girlfirend at the table next to our family's at a luxury hotel in Tokyo. He stood up at looked us in the eye and said, very intoxicated, "Ah, you! I didn't mention my girlfirend because I wasn't sure about what was going on, but now it's over. And I guess you understand by now why I haven't called you."

Maybe it is a disturbing sign that life is more exciting when you are asleep. But as long as some hours of the day is filled with adventure, we're happy.
We thought it would be nice to have two handsome bass/guitar players next to each other. And you can't show two men doing the same thing without at least one of them having a beard.

We were reading a menu yesterday that had the headline; "Do you eat because you are hungry or because it tastes good?"

We suggest putting up similar signs in bars; "Do you drink because you are thirsty, or because you want to get drunk?"

Ah, broad shoulders, kind eyes and lucious lips.
It could also be that you very much remind us of a guy whose Swedish grandparents emigrated to Brooklyn, plays basketball, studies environmental law and, when entering a library, says things like "Let me see what you have under D."
There is something very appealing about the way the raspberry pink lips go so well with the swimming pool blue wall. And we can just hear how young hearts start to beat faster.
In our field studies we've noticed a distinctive difference between the Swedish vs. American perception of the term "I wanna make out with you all the time". There are always exceptions to the rule, but in general this is what it's like:

An American thinks "Great!", interpretating "all the time" as "whenever I like" or "as long as I want to".
A Swede on the other hand, he gets a bit nervous.
"ALL the time...?" he ponders. In accordance to his honest and serious nature, he wonders if this means that he has to quit his job, stop seeing his friends and give up all other pleasures in life. In his mind, this is a way too big responsibility and does best in avoiding whoever put so much pressure on his poor soul.

Needless to say, we prefer dudes who appreciate a simple compliment and take themselves less seriously.

This is pretty close to our vision of paradise: turquoise waters, sunshine, beer, beard, bare feet, shorts, a Cosby-sweater and
one Brooklyn dude on permanent vacation.

Because we love to have good-looking heroes.

The memorable things in life can pretty much be summed up as a collection of events and incidents. Yet, in all situations, good looks, crazy ideas and relaxness (which wasn't even a word until this Dane came along) is crucial.

Vibskov has the sparkle in his eyes, a killer smile and sexy drawliness sparkled all over his Danish accent. The fact that he owns a boat that looks like Donald Duck probably adds up to it as well.

Living would certainly be a life-long event if spent with this remarkably boyfriendable Danish pastry.

In the age of Artic exploration, the Norweigan Amundsen beat Robert Falcon Scott of Britain to the south pole. One key success factor was that he used dogs to draw his sleigh instead of horses, whereas the poor ponies froze to death on Scott's fatal Terra Nova Exhibition. But if we're just going for a short winter ride with this sweet heart, there is no need for casualties.

We love Texans. They are awesome. Or as our favourite drinking buddy put it; "It's because they are sluts". Yes, it's a cheap trick with the models, but Tyson is simply irresistible.
One of the best pieces of literature in the field of making out is DSL 55's Making Out pamphlet. Fritzi Adelman sums up our worldview brilliantly in the A to Z's of making out;

The first thing to know is that girls love making out. It's our way to get it on with anyone. Even with guys who don't care about u (who we don't really like anyway) and not feel that emotional emptiness we would feel after doing it with them. It doesn't mean that we aren't thinking about getting laid as much as you and your guy friends, it's just that making out is fun without becoming emotionally attached and all those other complicated things only girls feel.

Something that we are definitely missing is the very handsome, well-dressed, intellectual, super smart student who loves a good home assignment as much as enjoying a dance in the forest rain or lying in bed writing love letters. Although we are still doubting his existence, Gant serves up three guys playing the part splendidly.
* - WHEN WILL YOU MARRY ME???
JW - I will consider marriage if you come with a significant dowry. A couple of goats should do the trick...
* - Great! I'll talk to dad about sorting out some camels.
BTW, you are a business developer. Can't you see the potential?
I am like Apple stocks in the early 90's.
JW - It is good to have that sort of self-confidence. I tend not to be the first investor though ;-)
* - Hahahaha. I'll get back to you once I've gotten my first divorce.

In real life, Don Draper would be a douche deluxe, but in the handy format of a dvd-box we feel inclined to take a swirl on the dance floor, down some cocktails and be unfaithful creative directors.

Or to put it in the words of Peggy Olsen, when another of the Mad Men asks how the hell she got a window office of her own:
"I'm sleeping with Don. It's really working out."

Dear make out gals,

There are several parallels between a make out session and a cooking session. They're both highly seasoned acts involving plenty of steaming, sizzling and roasting elements.
Sometimes a high level of expertise is required, sometimes improvising is the key.
In any case, you're in for a passionate, relaxing and blissful experience. Plus it's my firm conviction that once you master the kitchen, the bedroom's a piece of cake.

To make-outs and brussel sprouts!

Love,
Popculture cooking
It could have something to do with the leather jacket.

The terms animal love or animal lover can have several meanings:
* for affectional relationships between humans and companion animals, see pet

see animal welfare
* for sexual relationships between humans and animals,
see zoophilia
* for affectional bonding between animals, see pair bond
* for the possibility of emotions such as love in animals,

Ah, Wikipedia, you're certainly not doing this Mowgli justice.

Some things simply do look a lot better in black and white. Maybe that's what Christoph Musiol though when he took these boy shots.

Jamie Bell. (Yes, the kid from Billy Elliot.) He's 23 years old now and still acting, if that's at all relevant. He looks a bit younger than most of the dream boats you blog about, but I'll let you be the judge. I'm 16 and I've wanted to make out with him ever since hormones came into my life. I hope he's up to your standards :)

Young or old, our mission is to keep hormones jumping.
Besides the fact that it looks like you are on a fancy version of a charter holiday, we'll disregard the beach front taverna and stick with the beard-and-a-tan-combo.

Mr. Wilder of Yeasayer would be even more attractive if he smiled occasionally, and with a beautiful face like that we really can't see what's not to be happy about.
Also, a tip when you've heard enough like's and you know's being misused in oral English, read interviews with American bands in French instead. Everything sounds wonderful.
