Because you are one of few Swedes who really turns us on. And because Walt Disney put it very well when he said: "We do not make movies to make money, we make money to make movies."

Well, because this is what irresistibility looks like. And because after spending the weekend listening to Yale open lectures on Human Nature, Socrates provides the philosophical answer as to why Stockholm and New York complement each other so well. According to him a good city posses four virtues: wisdom, courage, moderation and justice. The Swedish society is juste, excel in moderation, and is fairly wise. New York has plenty of courage and wisdom, but is extremely unjust and the word moderation is not a part of its vocabulary. And as much as we want to play with your dark curls, we're hoping a rare breed of the courageous heart beats underneath that chest.

Because Johnny apparently orders the most expensive whiskey and just smells its smokey aroma, since he stopped drinking. And being firm belivers in hugs over drugs, further proof is provided by a Harvard study that found that when you hug a woman longer than thirty seconds, it increases her oxytocin levels and anticipation of sex.

Because we love a casual tree climb, Brooklyn boys and the occasional tequila can in a world coloured by shades of blue.

We roamed through grandpa's old library and found a tiny book called Ord på Vägen. A completely, to us, unknown Jakob Billström spelled out what we know, adore and find most frustrating when it come to love;

Because everything makes sense when we read that Robert has it's roots in the ancient Germanic name Hrodebert, a composition of honour (hrode) and light or shining (bert).
Our minds instantly think knight in shining armour, or simply, shiny, happy good times.

Because you are so very attractive, simply by being incredibly light-blue, laid-back, having kind eyes, bony fingers, dimples and the best seven letters in the world printed over your chest.

Because while we are wondering what course in rudeness and mis-communication the majority of boys in Stockholm have taken, there are still some breathtakingly beautiful man's men out there to keep our spirits up.

Talking about Al Pacino, De Niro confirms our notion that, above all, confidence is essential when you are up for tough competition. “Al, over the years we’ve taken roles from one another. People have tried to compare us to one another, to pit us against each one another and to tear us apart personally. I’ve never seen the comparison frankly. I’m clearly much taller, more the leading-man type. Honestly, you just may be the finest actor of our generation – with the possible exception of me.”

Sometimes we feel as if newspapers are just full of BS, and that's why it is delightful to actually learn something useful while reading them. This time it came down to the simplicity of choosing your partner, and inspired by the couple featured in Dagens Nyheter, we now know that you should go for a man that is utterly attractive, very funny and who loves you.

Because we're speechless.

And even though it's great to be born in the early eighties, it would have been awesome to be a bit older at the time and hang out with men like these. Men with strong arms, tanned legs, wind in hair, hearts and minds, made of the same material as dreams.
Baby, sailboat and evening sun included.

Because, in the words of Isabel Allende; only a fearless and determined heart will get the gold medal.

Because although you look like a competent DJ, we'd much rather listen to Från Och Med Du on repeat, with you spending newly acquired leisure time trying to quit smoking, keeping that shirt unbottoned, being beardly gorgeous and shopping groceries with us on Sundays.

A while back, we met a guy who was wearing dungarees, and up until that point we had never considered that item of clothing arousing. But in combination with a shirt, a tie, green socks and a degree in industrial design, the feeling was clearly different. A high-five sealed the deal, and there was also the novelty of rapidly falling for a blond guy instead of our regular diet of brunettos. The mutual attraction was so strong that we had to sweep and tidy the apartment once we got home, completely convinced that he would spend the following night there.

Unfortunately, the universe is just teasing us with these surfer like babes, and the guy obviously had a girlfriend. But let's hope that they are very happy, or break up soon.

Because if Ingrid Bergman look-a-likes are as crazy about you as tacos, that must mean you are hot, delicious and a perfect complement to late night beers in backyards.

The difference is that these young people take it for granted that they're going to get whatever they want, and that we almost always took it for granted that we shouldn't.

Only, I wonder - the thing one's so certain of in advance: can it ever make one's heart beat as wildly?

First published in 1920, The Age of Innocence certainly confirms the very familiar concept of history repeating. But Edith Wharton wasn't a fan of "that kind of innocence, the innocene that seals the mind against imagination and the heart against experience." Neither are we. Let's stick to the wildy beating hearts.

"Hold on for a second. Let me just finish this very important sea shell conference call, and I'll kiss you all over as soon as I have touched based/reached out/BS-ed enough with Triton."
