This is a blog about men and love. It has filled a function of online therapy where we could put our energy, fascination and adoration of boys in a space where they were spared of dealing with it directly.

Three years later, we are no longer in the business of miserable infatuations and thus less inclined to keep the content fresh. The time has come to leave some things behind and move further into the constant now.

We're not saying that the world is running out of beautiful men, but our next venture is more likely to be called You wanna do me all the time, and will probably stay out of the blogosphere due to it's NSFW-ness.

Beauty is in the soul and measured in aliveness.
Once you realize that, loving is easy.

Because dudes who so obviously part-time as models possess such clean cut good-lookingness that it makes most of the IKEA catalogue look messy.

Slightly ridiculous, we know, but sometimes it is difficult to resist a pair of pipe smoking twins. Yet it is even more ridiculous to flick through an astrology book during lunch break and get an instant cosmic revelation to our own behaviour;

Oh, no!

We went to a seminar earlier this summer that stated the importance of feeling suprised, because all to often we are caught in the same routines and think we know it all. Imagine our suprise then when Stockholm decides to throw us a record breaking make out evening with the most beautiful boy we ever kissed, a second man that charmingly picked us up while we were unlocking the bike, who we then gave a ride to Nybroviken (since it had to be romantic even though it was a 5am pick up) and while we are debating which place to go back to (His argument: "Det är ingen bra idé. Jag kommer ha ångest oavsett om vi går hem till dig, mig eller om jag vaknar själv i morgonbitti") a new acquaintance from the previous Wednesday night gives us a ring and wonders if he can come over. "Well, of course, see you in twenty minutes!" Turns out though, that mediocre things don't come easy. Seven (incoming) phone calls and two and a half hours later, he eventually shows up, having spoiled all chances of getting laid. Our hugs not drugs policy required an explanation, and resulted in a confession: apparently, taking your friend's ADHD medication slows down your mental capacity and clearly leads you to completely misinterpret the term booty call.

Needless to say, we woke up as the big winners. Or maybe it is just true, that blondes really do have more fun.

We were, like many notable creatures like Barack Obama and Louis Armstrong, and maybe even this pair of free spirited dudes, born on August 4th. If you happen to be in Brooklyn, please join us in celebrating our first birthday at Enid's this Wednesday from 7 pm.
We will be making out all the time.

- How old are you?
- I'm twenty-seven.
- Damn. I was hoping you were gonna be twenty-two or something.

We believe that this is what is called a backhanded compliment. It is assumed to be flattering looking younger than you are, but apparently the nightly adventures becomes less of a good story if you are more similar in age. Ah, American gentlemen.

Because from now on, a double rainbow will be synonymous with joy beyond words. And a double set of dark hair and shirts in the color of the sky isn't anything to complain about either.
i awoke from my blackout and found your card in my back pocket.
thanks

Our favorite drinking buddy later reprimanded us for sending a Bee Gee's song to someone slightly suicidal, saying "That's horrible." But we just love Texans and would do anything to cheer them up.

These boys are certainly a sure sign of a good time, which also happen to be the message plastered across New York City subways promoting light beer. Not seeing the point over exposure to Bud Light, our friend, the culture and media expert, laid it down for us; "Well, it's summer you know. People don't want to be fat. They wanna drink beer."

Oh boy, do we love the Americans! Once again are we in our prime element, and filling up the lungs with the oxygen of life.
If people call us Sweet in Sweden, our newly required nicknames are Crazy and Trouble.
- I can tell that you are trouble.
- No, I'm not. I'm a ray of sunlight.

Then again, it is the whole issue of values, where the Yankees have a peculiar tendency to put money and work before friends, family and lovers. And from that point of view, being exposed to unconditional love, however briefly, might be very troublesome for, say, future existence.

What can we say, besides throwing around some wise quotes;
"You can either be miserable or happy. The work is the same, the choice is yours."

More smiles, drinks and running-fingers-through-hair, please.

Because we haven't seen a proper salty-air-sunset in quite a while.

Even if awkward/anti-social do not make the list of most desirable traits in a man, American boys are still our favorites.
And there is not enough men wearing shorts this time of the year.

After developing a record setting 5-6 intermediate crushes the last two weeks before Christmas, a few Stockholm boys are present in our imagination, where we are playing with the thought that they were celebrating Christmas with us.

One would charm grandma completely with his eloquence and tall, blond appearance. Another would be cuddled up, reading next to us in her turqoise leather sofas and join us for a Florida vintage shopping spree at the Goodwill stores. One would curse the capitalist ways as we drive along the Tamiami, and we would engage in delightful arguments over the Turkey.
The fourth would, au contraire, praise the entrepreneurial spirit, but besides that we're not sure what he would be up to. Another would most likely enjoy everything, but a highlight might be lying close together on a blanket on the beach.

Yes, yes, we know the difference between dream and reality. But to quote The Economist's end-of-year-issue further and The Idea of Progress; "Everytime someone tells you to "be realistic" they are asking you to compromise your ideals."

And that's something we try to avoid to the greatest extent.

It is always amusing to realize how completely predictable we are. You just have to visit Stuff White People Like, to feel like the most unoriginal person in the world. Yet, instead of saying that we're completely unimaginative, we prefer to call it for what it is;
being children of of our time.

The most recent 'Aha'-experience of mainstream-ness came from Paste Magazine's Evolution of the Hipster spread. It lists the different gals and guys of the 21st Century's first decade and we couldn't have been provided with a more accurate inventory of our favorite boys;

2000 The Emo - check, check
2002 The Ashton - check
2004 The Twee - check
2006 The Mountain Man - check, check, check,
check, check, check, check, check, etc.
2008 The Williamsburg - check, check, check

1.rub n' tug
n.(rub-en-tug)
a massage parlor where a gentleman goes for a massage (rub) and hand release(tug); see rub and tug, see also happy ending.

In our own dictionary, it is simply the most good looking beat dropping, disco dancing DJs out there.

"Only wish the good nights didn't go by so damn fast. We def laid down some auditory gold all night long doodham. Thanx for mannin' the decks wid me and keepin the booty's and positive vibes flowing like Niagra. We were holdin it down son. Anyway.. much love to ya my friend."

We're just guessing that this is how cool cats talk.

Well, especially you to the left look like a man with the qualities of being both kind and gorgeous with those sparkling, we're guessing, green eyes. And because this is our pose of choice and we love the Japanese finger tricks too.

Because boys and super-sized furry animals have a few things in common; if you are lucky you can win one, they are usually soft on the inside and always delightful to sleep next to.
